Image by ThankYouFantasyPictures from Pixabay I was afraid of the closet as a young child. They were dark and creepy. I always felt as if something was in there and I needed to stay out of it at night. Just imagine how I felt as a psychologist, when children began to share their fears of the closet with me. I would tell them, "I completely understand," until they started to share with me more to their stories that I did not suspect. Their experiences with monsters in their closets were not cute like James P. Sullivan "Sulley" or Mike Wazowski from the Monster's Inc franchise. Oh no! However, the movie, "Monster's Inc." does explain why monsters enter a child's closet, right? Makes me wonder if... You've seen ghosts in your closet...? Closet Ghosts Children report to me that they see ghosts in their closets. The challenge for me was to determine if there was a mental health concern or if the kids really did have the ability to see ghosts in the closets. I discuss how I was able to figure this out in earlier blogs from "Kids Can See Ghosts, Can You," but it was no easy task. Most of the time, children shared that they would sleep with their lights on because it protected them from the ghosts in their closets. Or, they would sleep in their parents' bedrooms. They would talk to me about how the ghosts would not come out of their closets when their parents appeared in their rooms. Children told me that closet ghosts were scared of their parents (I heard this many times). Sometimes, the eyes of the closet ghosts glowed red. They also talked to the children. In return, the children communicated with the ghosts in their closets, but not always at night. It was too scary for them! Children also saw ghosts in a closet of mine at a former place of employment. Check Kids Can See Ghosts Can You? Teenagers would often challenge themselves by opening their closet doors or by walking into into their dark closets. At times, it happened due to the ghosts commanding them to walk into their closes but most of the time it was solely their decision. A few of them just did not want to be scared of the ghosts any longer; haven been afraid for several years, and wanting to end the fear. Can you imagine entering your dark closet while you see ghosts in it? Most of them would come running out of their closets. Others commanded the ghosts to go away. I asked many children why the ghosts would hide in their closets. Some shared that ghosts feel as if they are hiding and that it was a safe place for them while waiting for their parents to fall sleep. Ghosts walked around the homes of these children while their parents were asleep. Children shared their stories with me about seeing ghosts in their hallways at night, in their bathrooms, and in mirrors, kitchens, and out of the windows. This is why many of them would not use the bathroom at night. The ghosts would scare them at night, so they would remain in their room and under the covers to hide from the ghosts. They always felt as if they were being watched from the closets, and forget about sleeping with the closet door open at night! Do you keep your closet doors open at night? What To Do If A Child Tells You, "I See a Ghosts in my Closet" Whenever a child tells you, "I see a ghost in my closet," believe them and assist them with working through their feelings. I know that it is hard to understand whether or not a child is being truthful; they have big imaginations, but how do you know it is not true? If you cannot see ghosts, you do not know. Please know that I have heard of ghost sightings numerous times, even closet ghosts. Furthermore, most of these stories sounded the same with almost identical experiences. Mind you, these were different children who did not know about one another (confidentiality). It took me years to come to terms with the fact that I will hear these more than likely, for the rest of my career. If you are a parent who is genuinely concerned about these experiences, or if they are causing your child distress, it is advisable to consult a medical or mental health professional. They can help determine if there are underlying physical or psychological factors contributing to their perceptions and provide appropriate guidance and support. Experiences involving the supernatural are highly subjective and often rooted in personal beliefs and cultural influences. Maintain a healthy level of skepticism and consider scientific and rational explanations when interpreting unusual phenomena. I did and there is nothing wrong with questioning whether not closet ghosts or the ability to see ghosts seems real or fabricated. It is not always a happy experience for children, and it can be a disconcerting and frightening experience. However, approach these experiences with an open mind while considering alternative explanations for such perceptions such as:
Ultimately, whether your closet(s) are truly haunted or not, your child's emotional well-being is paramount. If your child continues to feel distressed or fearful about seeing ghosts in the closet, seek professional assistance. Your and support is a crucial step to address your concerns and find peace in your living environment. Image by Angeline 1 from Pixabay

Image by Tannetje Riek from Pixabay DARK ANGELS I bet you though this only happens in movies, right? Think again. I encountered two children this year who reported to me seeing "REDRUM" written in various areas of their families home. Both shared with me that it was written by dark angels who also threatened them prior to seeing the writing. Each child also admitted having the ability to see ghosts and when REDRUM was written, it was by dark angels. REDRUM Child 1 (C1) was afraid because dark angels had been taunting her throughout the day at her home. She saw them behind her, in the bathroom mirror, and in the backyard. She walked outside and REDRUM was written on the back of the home. Her family did not believe her and she felt alone. She originally viewed dark angels as her friends; often dressing in human-like clothes and presenting themselves as friendly. She engaged with them for several years until they began to frighten her with yelling/demanding commands, appearing in random places, and changing form with dark wings, eyes, or glowing eyes. When she began to tell them to leave her alone, that is when they became threatening and writing scary things on walls and mirrors, including REDRUM which made her scream in terror. C1's parents became involved and placed her into therapy. They never did believe in her ability to see ghosts. Although she is older now, she still sees ghosts, though not as often. She learned to decide when to connect with them and also how to remove them from her life. Child 2 (C2) was older than C1 at the time that her events occurred, and provided more details about what lead up to the writing of REDRUM in her home. C2 explained that she could see ghosts from a very early age in a variety of places and not just at home. She saw them in other people's homes, and the ghosts from her home would appear in their homes as well. Despite the fact that C2 would ignore the ghosts and tell them to go away, they would stay. As she aged, they became a lot more demanding and pesky. For fun, she would often identify ghosts for her friends and talk to their ghosts when they request for her to speak with them. Some people just think ghost sightings are cool. C2 had a lot of support for her sightings and felt as if she was a typical child instead of hearing that "something" was wrong with her. She told her friends and family all about dark angels and various things associated with them, such as black crows. Most were fascinated by her ability; specifically with her feedback in conversations with the ghosts (e.g., predictions). C2 was at home and while having her "typical" conversations with ghosts, she started to become concerned about a few things that she noted about them from the previous night. She mentioned, the ghosts were in her room, staring at her with glowing red eyes, and showed themselves as being a lot darker in color than usual (appearing completely black). She told me that when she brought it up to them, they became mean toward her and she assumed it was due to her resistance about the behaviors that they were demanding of her, (e.g., harming others), which she refused. As a result, the ghosts began to threaten her, her family, and her friends which made C2 scared and also mad. The dark angels continued to do this which caused C2 to share this information with her parents. However, she did not feel as if there was much that her parents could do about their threats. Her parents were unable to see ghosts and were confused about how to resolve this problem for C2. C2 decided to take walk outside and they followed her into the yard. She wanted them to leave her alone but before they did, she turned around and saw REDRUM on a part of her home. She screamed and called for her parents. She was terrified and shared with me that it was a new experience for her. Although she had never been afraid of the ghosts that she saw, on that day her feelings changed. She no longer appreciated her ability to see ghosts and worked hard to remove them. Currently, she has more control over her ability to see ghosts as an adult. For example, she only sees and speaks to ghosts when she wants to instead of them governing when they appear to her. She no longer feels threatened by them and resists the urge to interact with them on a daily basis as she did as a child. When Ghosts Threaten You... Experiencing threats from ghosts or paranormal entities can be a distressing and unsettling experience. It's essential to approach such situations with care and consideration. Keep in mind that beliefs in ghosts and paranormal phenomena vary widely among individuals, and not everyone may share the same interpretation of such experiences. Remember that perceptions of being threatened by ghosts or paranormal entities are subjective and can vary among individuals. Seek support and guidance from professionals or loved ones as needed to address any distress or discomfort you may be feeling. If you feel threatened by ghosts as C1 and C2 did, here are a few steps to consider:

"Kids Can See Ghosts Can You?" Image by S. Bartels from Pixabay Sarah Ever been that child who thought, do my plushies play while I am asleep or gone away from home? Do they come to life at night? Well, I met a child this year who shared with me, "There are ghosts in my plushies." We will call her Sarah; a fictional name, and she was not a former client. Nor has she been diagnosed with any mental health condition. It may seem as if this is a figment of Sarah's imagination; however, she is not the first child that I met who told me about ghosts being in their dolls, plushies, and other toys. I shared in my earlier blogs that I, too, had experiences with haunted toys. In other words, hearing about ghost plushies does not surprise me and I am sure that it will not be the last time. Ghost Plushies Sarah randomly told me her story. Ghost plushies was not the topic of conversation at all. We were discussing something completely different, as she held onto one of her stuffies. She introduced her stuffies to me and started to tell me that there were three individual ghosts in each of her three stuffies. The one stuffie that she was holding in her arms had a ghost in it that made her feel safe. What does safe mean? She said that it protects her from dark angels that she sees around her home and it tells her what to do about them. Note: This is when I start to get concerned about Nebulous Children. I do not want them following the directions of ghosts, especially dark angels. I asked, "What does it tell you to do?" She said that it tells her how to deal with dark angels. I was quiet because this did not sit well with me. She also stated that its eyes glow red which was to make sure that she is safe (as if it had magic eyes to ward off dark angels). Immediately, I sat up in my chair because this was not a good situation for Sarah to be in at all. Yet, Sarah's ghost plushies wanted to talk to me. Typically, I ignore ghosts that want to talk to me through children. Why? Because I believe that they are dark angels unless children specifically tell me that they are God's angels - and children can tell the difference. However, Sarah was adamant it on behalf of these entities, and I finally told her that I would talk to them only for her. That was also my way of trying to remove those ghosts from Sarah's stuffed animals. Once they began to talk to me through Sarah, I turned the tables and started asking questions:
I said to Sarah, get rid of the demon in your stuffie. Sarah understood and asked me the reason it stayed with her. I explained that sometimes, these entities attach to children because you are most vulnerable. Sarah made it leave and eventually explained to me that the other two stuffies did start to scare her. She told me they were following her to school and doing things within her home that frightened her which started to make her feel as if they were not nice ghosts. To make matters scarier, Sarah had ghosts who would hide in her closet. She dealt with ghosts a lot and throughout her family home. Specifically, in her toys or plushies. She recalled as a younger child, her toys would go off on their own (noises/sirens), and that it was not uncommon for her ghosts to enter her stuffed animals. Her parents believe in her ability to see ghosts, but also sought therapy for Sarah to ensure that her mental health remains stable. It can be quite difficult for children to navigate their ability to see ghosts and I supported Sarah's parents in their pursuit of therapy to address this matter. Image by PublicDomainPictures from Pixabay If Your Stuffies or Toys Are Haunted
If you suspect or believe that a toy is haunted or has a ghostly presence, it's essential to approach the situation thoughtfully and consider various perspectives and explanations. Ghostly encounters in toys are generally considered paranormal or supernatural, and they can be a matter of personal belief. Approach situations involving paranormal or supernatural claims with an open mind and a critical perspective. The belief in ghosts and haunted objects is subjective, and people's interpretations and experiences can vary widely. While some may find comfort or meaning in paranormal beliefs, others may seek logical explanations for unusual occurrences associated with toys. Ultimately, the best course of action depends on your personal beliefs and feelings about the situation. Try these tips:
I believe children when they tell me ghosts haunt their toys. Why? Go back and read my blog, "Kids Can See Ghosts Can You?" Thank you Sarah! Introduction It's Time!! I hope you are just as excited as I am to read more of my stories about my experiences with Nebulous Children, or children who can see ghosts. I still have a lot of stories to share with you throughout my career in the field of psychology. However, we are going to discuss my more recent encounters with Nebulous Children from 2023. For some reason, I thought that my experiences with Nebulous Children would end and they did until recently when I learned about, The Car Ride. It is creepy! I made sure that I remembered this story because I thought, I am going to share this with my readers this year for October Ghost Stories. Admittedly, this experience was a new one for me. despite the fact that several different children in the past have told me about an angel who rides on the outside of my car to protect me. However, for this story, we will call the person who told me all about The Car Ride Andy. He has a significant amount of experiences with seeing ghosts since he was a smaller child, and told me multiple stories to write for this blog this month. Maybe I will. In the past, used to hear about these stories a lot to the point where each time I met a new child, I'd get surprised when I did not hear about them seeing ghosts. For The Car Ride, Andy shared that this type of encounter was new for him. Typically, ghosts will appear to him in random places but never a set of the same ghosts inside of or around his vehicle. The Car Ride The story begins inside of Andy's family home. The doorbell rang, but no one was at the door. There was a knock at the window, yet no one was outside of the window. The doorbell rang again and when Andy opened the door, no one was there which was concerning for Andy. While walking around his home, the doorbell rang one more time. Andy opened the door and this time a couple was waiting at the door. I asked Andy, "Who was the couple?" He said, "I don't know, but..." "They were ghosts." I sat there for a moment processing what Andy had just said to me. I did not move at all. Eventually I asked Andy, "Who was this couple?" "What did they want?" Andy said he asked the two ghosts several times what they wanted. However, these ghosts were not only new to Andy but would not talk to him. They only stood at the door and looked at him. They were dressed in vintage 18th century clothing and just stared at him, he said. So, he closed the door. Andy shared that he sees ghosts in various places, but not always in his family home. The couple would not enter the home; they only knocked on the door and tapped on the window, which Andy thought was weird. He decided to ignore the couple, get into a car, and drive to school. While driving, he saw this couple in various locations. When looking to the right while stopped at a light, the couple was staring at him from the street corner. Andy ignored them. While driving further down the road, the couple was in front of the car. He said he was starting to get nervous. He was used seeing ghosts and it was easy to ignore them or make them go away; however, the repetitive nature of these two ghosts was alarming. Most of these children tell me that they "always" see ghosts and become numb to their presence. Adults have even shared with me their stories about seeing the same ghosts, yet this was different because they continuously appeared as Andy was driving his car. They were definitely trying to get his attention which I do not believed worked as well as the entities wanted because Andy kept ignoring them. For me, it would have been a nightmare! I probably would have been nervous to look in my rearview mirror; we see what happens in the movies when you look in the mirror! BOO! Image by Josep Monter Martinez from Pixabay What Andy decided to do was to continue to drive to school. As he approached his school, he looked around for the ghost couple again and did not see them. He thought they finally disappeared, though he still wondered why they appeared to him. Most of the ghosts that appear to him, he said, "Will talk to me" (subliminally) and they typically want something or have a message for Andy. Instead, these ghosts were quiet and just stared at him which is why they made him somewhat nervous. As Andy made his way toward his destination, the female ghost appeared in the passenger seat and it scared him. He hit the brakes, looked in the rearview mirror and the male entity was in the back seat. He said that he told them that they were scaring him because they were not talking and only appearing where he looked. At that point, he decided to make them go away. He told them to go away, but they did not and remained in the car with Andy. He said that he was shaking and was officially scared to death of their presence. He told me, "For the 1st time with this gift, I started to believe that I was crazy!" The ghosts remained in the car with him as he continued to drive to school. However, Andy could not talk or move other than to drive because he was THAT AFRAID. Believe it or not, these ghosts remained with him all day at school. Andy had seen ghosts in his school at random; however, not this way and in the manner that these two appeared to him. He saw them throughout the day, but not after school or in his car again. Once he arrived home, he heard a knock at the door and opened it. The ghost couple was not at the door. He looked for them through the windows and they were not present. As a matter of fact, he did not see them again. Andy never did figure out what The Car Ride ghosts wanted with him. Still, he wanted to know why they appeared to him in the manner that they did on that day. When I last spoke to him, he said that he still did not learn their mission, nor have they visited him again. My guess was that they were protecting him from something that we may never know. What To Do If You Encounter A Ghost in Your Car Dealing with the concept of ghosts in a car can be a matter of personal belief; however, if you believe you are experiencing supernatural or paranormal phenomena in a car:
Understand that beliefs about ghosts and paranormal phenomena vary widely among individuals and cultures. There are many people who do not believe in these ghostly encounters. Be prepared for that that type of rejection of your experiences. What one person interprets as a paranormal experience, another may see as a psychological or environmental phenomenon. It's important to approach these experiences with an open mind and consider various perspectives and explanations. I Believe You, Thanks Andy! Hallow's Eve Within the imagination, there are things that are real. Things that we can fabricate, and other that we wish were real. Those that are real may be hard to believe but occur, yes indeed. If you believe that you can see, then visions come true. When you do not believe, find evidence of untruth to counter my claim. The truth can come in the form of children who share their visions of light, along with some put their faith in the darkness. The darkness is tricky and will make you believe that your faith needs to be tied to it despite your belief, as s in the case of a Nebulous Child who was connected to darkness, despite that he could see light. The light did not matter in the face of darkness, for darkness overcame this child to the point where light was useless. In the end, he was betrayed by the darkness that he thought was right. He put his faith into that darkness by following its plight. He could hear the darkness and made claims that it was bright, righteous, and holy. For it was the darkness that filled his spirit and strength, his dignity, and his visions. It was the Ouija board that he played with that confirmed his thoughts; it was where the darkness spoke to him to confirm his thoughts. This was the place where the darkness spoke in a language that only he could understand, it was also the time when he really did not care who else could comprehend. Anger ignited in him, his parents tried to save him, and therapy did not work for him only the dark command. It was the darkness whose directives this child would withstand. The Darkness On the eve of Halloween, he said that darkness rejoices. He could see their laughter as he watched with glee. He questioned the reason for the joyfulness and was told, they all celebrate us even those who do not believe that we this bold. This child believed in the darkness and that the darkness was his friend. The darkness became fascinating to this child; a friend, and this child called them, “Dark Angels.” The darkness was angelic to this child often showing its power to him. A power that this child was void of, but one that made this child feel forceful. At his command, the darkness showed itself to him. When the child verbalized with the darkness, the darkness spoke back to him. When the child asked for proof of strength, the darkness showed him by moving objects or appearing on command. The darkness followed the child to school and made him feel protected and comforted when upset or afraid. The child and the darkness became one, and the parent was slowly losing the child to a force that she was unable to see with her own eyes. A darkness that was so skilled at manipulation tactics that it caused the mother to lose control of the child. A thought process so engrained in the child’s head that even diagnosed mental health challenges seemed normal to this child. When told to stop therapy by the darkness, the child manipulated the parent into doing so without regard for what she perceived was best for her child. She complied with what this child wanted, needed, and fought to accomplish as a result of the darkness’s persuasion. A fog of grey followed this child who became dark, but he was happy about it according to the parent. As the child entered deeper into what I call, “The World of the Dark,” his behavior, mental health, school grades, and focus declined. He was told to perform physically aggressive acts toward other children, and he complied. He felt empowered by the darkness who in return celebrated his negative behaviors. For it was the darkness who told him, “Good job” and that this is what his parent would want him to do. It was the darkness that provided structure toward his poor choices, and positive reinforcement when demands were catered to despite the harm, they caused toward himself or others. It was the darkness that deposited the thoughts of self-harm, hatred toward God, and the power that he could conquer the world. When the darkness said that school did not matter, the child believed it. As the darkness drew closer to this child, the child withdrew from life. “Come to us,” the darkness mentioned, and the child attempted to end his life. He wanted to join the dark army that protected him. There was no reason to live if no one could see the darkness but him and that he must align with them, was his suicidal attempt justification. He was violent toward those who wanted to help him and mean to those who did not believe in the darkness. His thought processes were a nightmare for his mother who became stricken with grief and helplessness. You see, this was a battle that she felt she was unable to win. There were ghostly figures deep within her son who took over his soul, and the more she fought the harder he resisted. Initially, the mother thought it was a cool skill to have the ability to see ghosts. And as I always mention, it is a gift that needs to be structured because darkness causes destruction. It was the darkness that invaded her son’s life to the point mastery with trickery. He was possessed and the mother knew it. He was lost, and she could feel it. "What happened to my child," she would ask. The child would reply in a monotone manner, it was ok and that he was with his friends. She felt as if she could not remove the darkness from her child, and she stopped trying. She turned her tears into power, to share with other mothers of children who can see ghosts, about her despair. She warned them to monitor their child's visions and to ask what they see and if it is darkness, to just let it be. She shared that her excitement over the ability to ghosts gave way to an untold story of darkness who lurked in the shadows and waited for the next victim - her son. Her child saw darkness from the time he was a toddler, and she supported it without knowing its ability for its terror. You could see in her eyes that it was a mistake, and that she had about as much as she could take of the darkness. Her son would not stop interacting with the darkness despite her interventions. Trick Or Treat Tonight, you will see some form of the darkness. Keep in mind the above story, it is one that I always recall on Halloween. It is based upon one mother’s experience not only with her child who can see ghosts but how the darkness celebrates, “All Hallow’s Eve” night. For on this night, legend says, ghosts of the dead return to earth to wreak havoc on crops and to possess the living. Wear your costumes to ward off the ghosts tonight. Party, celebrate, and gather lots of candy but promise me this, there will be no witchcraft. Do you believe that this child was possessed? You probably do but, in your mind, you question is this true? It certainly is and not made it. It is the reason that I do not give up on providing Nebulous Children with light instead of dark. In the end, it is the darkness that will eat you up. No black magic or bewitching games. No worshiping the darkness or lighting flames. Remove all doubt and questions in your mind, those who do not are the ones who become blind… to the darkness. Most of all remember what I say, “The darkness if NOT your friend.” Happy Halloween Picture Courtesy: pixabay.com/images/id-7471592/
Eerie Stories
Introduction I do not know about you, but I've heard some eerie stories throughout my career. Periodically, I also learn about ghost stories from my friends or colleagues. A few of those stories have been scarier than the ones written on this blog, “Kids Can See Ghosts, Can You?” One day in October a few years ago, I had two eerie events happen to me: 1) An acquaintance read my palm, and 2) Neighbors shared a ghost story in our own neighborhood. Of course, I did not believe that this person could read palms, but I was up for the challenge. Why did I do that because what she told me blew me away? Keep in mind, both stories occurred long before I had a blog or podcast which is the reason that they remain two of my personal eerie stories. At a playdate for children and mothers and in the middle of a conversation, the ladies shared that one person there could read palms. I, of course, said no she could not read palms. They all said, “Yes she can!” I said, “No she cannot because no one can read palms.” Now, one would think that I might be optimistic about a palm reader considering the fact that I have met many individuals who can see ghosts right? But no, I was adamant about not believing in palm reading. It's a hand, what could it tell you other than medical ailments? The person who could read palms was sitting close to me and in my stubbornness, held my hand down toward her with my palm up. That was my sarcastic way of saying, show me that you can read my palm. So… she did. I will never forget that moment and have told the story many times since it happened. Here is what she told me based upon the lines in my hand. As you read the results, I want you to compare them to the stories written on this blog about God's angels from children who can see ghosts. Palm Reading As the lines on my hand was reviewed, she was quiet for a few minutes which piqued my curiosity. When she started to reveal her findings, she told me that I found the right husband. That was funny to me, and anyone could have told me that but the details of what she stated is what gave me pause. There was no way that she could have known anything about the time when I met my husband - at all. She proceeded to tell me that I was extremely intelligent because I have lived many lives. I was skeptical which meant that I questioned that statement. I thought that we only had one life. She said, "This is the only one that you know of, but you've lived many of them." She proceeded to tell living many lives is the reason that I am intelligent; extremely smart, with "stories to tell and lessons to teach." She also said, there is more education for you in the future (sigh). I already had a doctorate degree and I was unsure of more education. Fast forward to 2022, I know what she meant and she was right - again. This wonderful person kept looking at my palm as if she was counting. I was thinking, I hope she is not counting babies because I am done with that life!! She said, "No I am counting your angels." This what should remind you of my blog. Many children shared with me information about my own angels, remember? Of note: As I type, something is happening to my keyboard. I cannot explain it very well via this blog. I will share it on the podcast. Also, the doors keep opening and closing on their own. Weird. I consulted with someone to make sure it was not just me. This person told me a few more things and we are bringing in Bibles to cleanse our location. This happened to me in the past in various locations when I am thinking of what to write for this blog, or putting down notes to remember later on in the evening. What do you think is happening? She stopped and said, "I can't count them, there are too many (angels)." That statement left me stunned. I inquired about it. She told me that I am heavily guarded and that there were too many angels around me to count them accurately, so she stopped. Others around us were stunned too. The angels were showing themselves to her, and she said that it felt incredible. Mind you, years later I would start writing this blog although numerous Nebulous Children told me that same thing about myself. Example: This week was a rough one to drive to work. Thursday, I know that I was daydreaming a lot while driving. I was pretty sure that I should have been in an accident, but my steering wheel moved very fast which allowed me to avoid the collision. Please know that I did not move it. That situation is what made me say aloud, "Thank you," wake up, and pay attention to the road. It was also what caused me to remember this story of my palm reading and the numerous angels that I have been told are around me. After that palm reading, I had to give my associate some credit. Her reading matched another one that I spontaneously had from another woman back in 1998 because I did not believe her either. At that time, I did not have a doctorate degree but she told me that I would get more education, saw boxes which meant I would move, saw water which was located where I was going to move, and she saw three babies. I was accepted to a few schools for my doctorate, but moved to Chicago. Lake Michigan which is gorgeous, is the huge body of water close to where I lives, and I did go on to have 3 children. Wow right? This person also told me that I was heavily guarded by God's angels. I used this story and others that I heard from Nebulous Children and told my friend how accurate she was with regard to my palm reading. I was still shocked; however, you must give credit where credit is due and I did give it to her. She also proceeded to read someone's palm in front of me and it was the polar opposite of mine. A car accident would happen and she would be hurt but recover just fine, 2 angels guard her, and there was darkness around her because she is remaining upset over something in her past. Then, I asked her who died out of the blue and she confirmed that there was a death. This woman seemed more angry and defensive which is why we both backed-off from her although I could not figure out how I knew there had been a death. Even the person doing the palm reading looked at me but she said, "You have gifts other than intelligence, tap into them." Nope, I am good. I refused to give into visions. I still deny them, but yesterday I shared with someone that I saw grey or darkness... I'll let you all figure that one out. The Lake Halloween night a few years ago in Missouri, a group of parents along with my husband and I took all of our kids trick-or-treating. As we walked past a lake near our homes, there was a conversation about a haunting at that lake. I listened intently and wanted to learn as much as I could about this alleged haunting. Here is the story which I found from 10/30/2014 from "5 On Your Side:" www.ksdk.com/article/life/hauntings-around-st-louis/63-205917740. The part of this story that pertains to the lake is highlight below:

October Ghost Stories: Witches
Ever met one? I have and I enjoyed my interactions with each witch that I encountered. I asked a lot of questions to learn from them, especially about their practices, but mostly pertaining to magic. I found that they loved sharing their ideologies and skills with magic, people, and helping me to understand the children that I encounter who can see ghosts. Actually, sharing a few of my stories about Nebulous Children overtime is how my conversations began with these individuals although they did not initially share their magical secrets. It took a long time for them to tell me about their identity as witches, along with their practices, and beliefs. These are skills that have been around their families for generations, and they gladly shared them with me to use for my blog. Our interactions and conversations lasted for awhile, and not only did they teach me things, but I taught them a few things as well. As they discussed their experiences, I received gifts to ward off evil spirits, and prayers of protection. I told them that I did not need all of those things from them, but they insisted. When in Rome... It was truly a delight to be thought of highly enough by these witches to trust me. We did not always agree about the practices; oh no, because Witch #2 and I had our debates. However, we all had a mutual respect for one another which was important in developing our relationships. Let's Get Into It Witch #2 I am NO fan of anything dark in the world of the paranormal. To teach others, however, I will discuss it since so many people ask me about dark angels. Others want to summon or conjure dark angels to talk to them which honestly, drives me internally insane because "demons are not your friends." According to Nebulous individuals, dark angels will harm us. Leave them alone!
Witch #2 believed in dark magic, voodoo, and praying to dark entities. We were actually born on the same day, coincidentally, and this witch also believe in God and praying to God. Are you confused? I was which is why I asked a lot of questions, such as which God are you praying to with all of that dark magic? I would grumbly internally as I listened sometimes, and as we became a bit closer I would remind this person of the way that dark entities could possess, manipulate, and harm us. This witch, convinced that dark spirits were ok, tried to influence me to believe that her practices were acceptable and helpful to her life. I listened and learned some of the reasons that this person believed that for example, dark magic was a gift and great influence in her life.
Witch #2 practiced voodoo with family roots down south in the bayou, and it was has a source of prayer and strength for the family for decades. This person believed in praying to ancestors for strength and asked me to do the same. Um no, I said. My answers would always make this person laugh and we had a good time debating ideologies in our spare time. Voodoo was a source of life and strength for this witch, and I had silly questions such as, do you wrap up dolls and poke pins in them as seen in movies? Answer: No, but my family does it. So, it was not just made for movies? Nope. Ok. Curses? Yes. On others? Yes. Me staring at this person... Let me be her friend! Just kidding... This person called herself a witch and was proud of it. I understood the reason; the family was a strong unit and together, they had a lot of pride in witchcraft and other sources of magic. This witch was also very much into using candles and created what I call a shrine or a table with pictures of deceased relatives used for prayer to them. She also used various spells to deal with black magic. I asked how she created spells and she told me that they had been passed down from her ancestors. There was things that she did to protect herself from demons such as using sage in various rooms in her home, candles, and salt lamps. She would actually talk to demons and tell them to leave when they bothered her or when she did not feel like interacting with them. So yes, witch #2 could see ghosts which made her even more fascinating to me. I wondered about the connection between seeing ghosts and practicing voodoo or witch craft. Witch #2 answered this question for me. Witch #1 Of note: This is NOT the Pagan Witch that I discussed in earlier blogs. Witch #1 was also someone that I grew fond of overtime. Ironically, I sensed something different about Witch #1 but I was unable to put my finger on it when I first encountered this woman. She felt the same about me and told me that it was a mutual "energy" but she had to get to know my spirit first before being comfortable around me. Say what? I used to catch her watching me, but would ignore her observations. She was cordial and so was I, but I was guarded because I knew she was "checking me out." I kept my distance until one day we starting chatting, repeatedly, about a topic and after that moment we talked non-stop. On one occasion, she revealed to me that she was a witch and I asked her, What is that like for you? The rest was history between us because we spoke daily about her religious practices, and ability to use magic. This was her version of Paganism, and it was passed down to her from past generations as it was for witch #2. The difference between the two witches was that witch #1 refused to practice dark magic or speak to demons. This was something that witch #1 refused to get into although she could also see them. Witch #1 was a person who could see ghosts, and her family saw ghosts as well, which fed into my question about the connection with witchcraft. The ability to see ghosts was a gift that witch #1 had since childhood, and so did members of her family. Their use of magic was a part of their religion, but it was only to learn and not to evoke dark spirits, speak to them, or see them. Witch #1 also understood how to rid herself of annoying ghosts and she would encourage others in her family to rid themselves of ghosts as well. Her idea was that ghosts hanging around are not of good energy or "Godly" which is why she immediately removed them or made her family do the same. You see, she explained that those ghosts were not to hang around because they were evil. In her opinion, anything dark and/or evil had negative influence on others. Witch #1 also found that prayer to (her) God helped to strengthen her, which lessened the power of influence from dark entities. Sage was used around her home, as well as salt lamps and magic to keep dark spirits away. I'm not sure if it worked because she found herself seeing ghosts often, and would tell me about it but she felt as if it worked for her, so who was I to judge? She told me about a lot of ghost stories and how it impacted her family's life. I found it intriguing but most of all, how her stories correlated with the children's stories of seeing ghosts throughout my experiences in psychology. At the time that we met, Witch #1 had never heard of me or my blogs. It was not until I mentioned it that she knew and her response was, "So You Understand?" Me: "I believe you." I will not profess to be "all-knowing" about the world of the paranormal because I am no expert, but I do comprehend that there is a connection amongst all of these wonderful individuals with the ability to see ghosts. The human brain is fascinating and we may never learn how this happens to some people scientifically, but spiritually there seems to be some connections amongst individuals. For these two witches, although practicing different forms of skills in magic and religions, both hold one commonality and that is the ability to see ghosts.
