Blog 37: "Church Ghosts"

"Ghost," the Movie
I was watching the movie, "Ghost" last night with Demi Moore, Patrick Swayze, and Whoopie Goldberg, and there were a few scenes in it that made me smile. I smiled because they reminded me of some of the conversations that I had with Nebulous Children. Scenes within that movie mimicked what Nebulous Children told me, such as light versus dark, dark angels, and how objects move around them. The parts that caused me the most pause in this movie, were when dark angels took away the men in the movie; from their sounds of their voices, to the faces that the actors make while leaving with those dark angels. Those scenes mirror the spiritual realm to me, based upon the stories that I have heard from Nebulous Children, as well as their parents. 

The movie "Ghost" is loosely based upon religion because it separates good versus evil, and the consequences of choice or "free will." It made me recall a time when a Nebulous Parent detailed some information to me about a church that I was attending, and how the spiritual realm connects with religion, churches, and Pastors. On that day, a Nebulous Parent shared with me:

1. God's angles hang from the lights on the ceiling, as the Pastor preaches his sermon.
2. Angels are positioned in front of him in a line, straight across, when he is standing at the podium.
3. But, demons are standing there as well listening to him.
4. A demon stands next to him when he sits in his chair, in the pulpit, and it watches him.

Of course, I asked all types of questions such as, how do you know? This parent told me that she could see it all. She also told me that my angel told her, to tell me, that she stands behind and above me while I am sitting in the pew.

Why would she need to protect me at church?

After learning that information, I used to look up at the lights swaying back and forth while I was sitting in the pew, and behind me for my angel. Occasionally, I still look for her when I think about it. My husband used to know what I was looking for as we sat in the pew, and he would laugh at me. I used to tell him all of these stories, so when I was being odd such as looking around, he would know the reason. He would also tell me if one appeared to me, I would be the first one running as if they were mice. He may have been right!? Side note: If I see a mouse; dead or alive, I am "ghost."

Consultation
I met with my Pastor and described my work with Nebulous Children. I also mentioned the stories that the Nebulous Parent above told me about what was happening in the church, as he preached his sermon. I thought that he would either disbelieve the parent or tell me why it was all untrue, according to the Bible. That is NOT what happened, nor were my assumptions correct about what he was going to tell me. Then, he added a surprise fact that he learned from his own child, as a child. 

My Pastor believed this parent and discussed the spiritual realm with me. It was an interesting and informative conversation that forced me to turn off my psychology books. I will always remember this conversation between the two of us because I considered it an, "aha" moment. The part of the conversation that yielded that type of mental response from me was when he said,

"My child used to see ghosts; angels, and told me that they line up in front of the pulpit when I preach my sermon."
Whattttttttt??? Did you say? I sat there for a moment. Of course I believed my Pastor. He told me all of the details.

I actually went back and told that story to this same Nebulous Parent and she said,

"I told you. Believe me now?"

Well, it was not as if I did not believe her, but confirmation comes in different ways. This time, it helped that it came from my Pastor who to me, had a different type of direct connect with God. I told her that I always believed her, but that I was learning from my Pastor in order to gain a deeper perspective into the spiritual realm. That way, I could understand Nebulous Children better and improve my relatedness to them since I was unable to see ghosts myself. I thought it was unbelievable that this parent told me the same thing that the Pastor's child told him, which made me even more of a believer of the gift of Nebulous Children. My Pastor smiled because he already knew about the angels and demons lining up and sitting with him in the pulpit.

​Going forward from that time period, when I attended church I would also think about God's angels sitting in front of the Pastors as they preached. Sometimes, I smile wondering what a Nebulous person would tell me about what spirits are seen in the church. Nebulous Children and Parents have told me that spirits are sitting in churches with us and that it is amazing to see, but that dark angels are there as well. That should not surprise you by the time you have reached this blog. If it does, remember, Satan is a fallen angel who knows the word of God probably better than most of us. His adversaries sit in the church to taunt God. Outside of church, Satan accomplishes the destruction by harming humans, who they hate and want to destroy. According to the Bible, we are "made in God's image" which Satan does not appreciate at all. The next time you want to contact demons, remember what I just told you.

​Last week, I spoke to a Pastor about my blog and podcast. He completely believed me and had heard stories about individuals seeing ghosts as well. He also shared that there is a spiritual realm, according to the Bible. He said that my gift was to work with children, and to stay where I am to help the children. What is interesting about this conversation is that for one, I did not know for months that he is a Pastor and two, when I reluctantly shared my stories, he believed me. Not to mention, a few other professionals who were listening to me believed me as well and shared their own experiences. My learning is ongoing; it never stops, and it probably never will with regard to Nebulous People. ​
