Welcome to my blog. This blog is dedicated to the many children that I have worked with along my journey in psychology. These children are the ones who can, “See beyond what they see,” or have the ability to see ghosts. For over 20 years, these children have told me their stories. Now, I am revealing their encounters with you. May be you can relate to them.

I encourage you to read these entries with an open mind, and add your own experiences in the comments. No judgment here! I am a witness to this phenomenon by way of these children, so your stories will not surprise me at all. I would appreciate hearing them.

If you think this is hard to believe, imagine how I felt as I worked with these beautiful children. At times it was scary; other times it was unbelievable, and then there came a time when I felt as if I had to start documenting their stories. Why? Because symptoms matched, although the children did not know one another. Parents had the same chronology, feelings, and stories, although they were unaware that other parents were telling me the same things due to confidentiality. Their comments were the same including, "I don't know what else to do about my kid saying that he or she sees ghosts." Most importantly, typical interventions used to assist these kids were ineffective which meant that I had to learn how to help these families.

Learning to help these kids took years. Understanding what was happening to these kids was hard. Unconventional treatment is what worked despite going against everything that I had learned in graduate school. My former graduate school advisor told me that I had to "think outside of the box" with these children. He knew of my stories. He also knew that I would always hear him fussing at me about thinking differently to assist these children toward healthy and productive lives. Today, he would be proud of me because I have finally allowed myself to step outside of my comfort zone to write this blog about these children. He would have said, "Well done."

RIP Bob.
I miss you...

Good Morning! I just completed my reading of your blog. I must say before reading it, I though this going to be a hard technical read for me. I have not been to school in many years and my background is in Sales. Secondly as I began reading I thought "oh my" have I completely ignored my children's needs when they said meet my friend and I cant see anyone.

As I read on I thought this a very well written piece on an interesting topic. I believe that children definitely by pure nature of their youth are definitely more open to the universe to see and feel. That being said your piece was easy to read and comprehend. It felt like a conversation. It was informative. I also got to know more about your education and expertise on the subject. I can say with confidence that I would continue to support your efforts if you continued.

Hi Tassah, thanks for reading and writing a comment. One of the first things that I learned in school from my advisor, was to speak and write in a language that everyone could understand. This topic is very complicated, and I am very thankful that you noticed my attempt to keep it interesting and to the point.

Children are divine and have abilities that we don't always comprehend. Keep reading!

Very interesting! I can’t wait to read more on the topic. I hope to learn how to handle my children as they encounter supernatural beings. Thank you for your expertise. I’m proud of you for stepping “outside the box” and finding your courage.

Hi Kenisha, thank you for reading and posting your comment. I'm wearing a big ole "C" for courage on my chest for this blog, lol. However, it's very important to me to speak for these children. At some point yes, I will discuss ways that parents can cope with their children if they can see spirits.

Children do have a sixth sense which opens them up to things unseen. I have heard.many stories of children experiencing ghosts and prior lives they allegedly once lived. Can't wait to hear more stories!

Hi Letitia, thank you for reading. I, too, have heard parents and other adults talk to me about "past lives." That is very interesting to me, and I will discuss it soon.
