Grateful - In Vivo Experiences
In thinking of my week last week, a word that can best sum it up is "grateful." Last week was very active with people telling me their experiences with seeing ghosts, in vivo. It ranged from dreams to live situations with some of them even validating some of the stories told on this blog. More specifically, the stories from Nebulous Children and a few of mine own. When new people open up to me, it makes me feel good for two reasons: 1) They feel emotionally better by releasing their encounters and, 2) they expose or allow me into their lives as a result of their ability to see ghosts.
Each person that approached me last week had no clue that I write this blog, or have a weekly podcast. These are random conversations and at times, we are not discussing anything related to paranormal activity at all. That is what makes last week so interesting! Then, when they learn of my blog and podcast, after the element of surprise, a sigh of relief occurred and they talked more about their contact with ghosts. Each person said to me, "I don't talk about it because no one believes me" or "People usually think that I'm crazy, but I'm not" before they disclosed their stories. Seems silly to me to make people feel badly because they have different experiences than the majority. It's so easy to listen, learn, and keep our judgments silent. Read each snapshot below, of what was said to me last week first about a child ghost.
As I listened, I became aware of a spirit of a female child, or the representation of one, close to where I was listening to others. I heard this from more than one person in the past two weeks. I heard that she has an angelic glow which calmed my nerves a bit, and that she twirls in circles. I want to learn more about her, but I will find out soon. Some people still seem a bit apprehensive when discussing her, but I think it is due to them wanting to make sure that they can trust me, and that I will not judge them.
Newsflash: I do not judge you.
Keep in mind, I heard these types of stories for many years and helped numerous children battle through this gift. Speaking of children, when the time is right I will ask a child more about this twirling ghost, and gather more details. Remember, I will not just randomly ask a child but I do have one in mind. There needs to be a reason for this child and I to interact, and I think that will happen soon. TBA on this one.
Another topic discussed with me last week was in reference to capturing ghosts on camera. Admittedly, I have no knowledge or advice about this topic, nor can I tell you how to capture a ghost with your camera. Honestly, I am not interested in seeing ghosts myself, but I will kindly listen to your stories. One person shared having dozens of ghosts captured on camera and I am planning to ask if I can share some of the photos with all of you on this blog. Once this person educates me a bit about how it is done, I will tell you that as well. Another person sent me a message months ago showing me an orb that was caught with a cell phone in s/he's home. I am not sure if that happens prior to a vision, after, or what even it means. Children did not talk to me about orbs, only the light of God. I just want you all to make sure that you are not dealing with dark angels because that is important to me.
A third topic from last week dealt with ghosts who appear with white mists around them. Interesting right? Yes, to me as well and as it was described to me, take note of how other ghosts appear to this person: "They" show themselves to me in light, translucent, solid white, solid with a blurred white face, or completely solid as you and I." Can you understand how this can scare children? A blurred white face may even scare me! Ghosts appearing this way to children was not told to me by children, as far as I can recall, but I would not be surprised if one does tell me about this one day. Now personally, I had a dream about a friend of mine who died. I did not know about her death until the next morning. After I was told she died, I put the puzzle together and remembered her in all white, a misty white with white lights and angels surrounding her. That was a dream compared to those who can see this with their eyes. Still, this is new to me and as I learn more about this topic, I will share it with all of you too.
Lately, people have been talking to me about positive and negative energy non-stop. I have never heard so much about energy since I took a chemistry course years ago. Someone told me that ghosts give off positive and negative energy too. I think kids just call it good and bad, or angels versus dark angels. I think it is the same thing and both groups are basically stating that they know when there is a demon around because they can feel the negative presence. Ever felt that way? Especially around a live person? I felt as if I knew when someone was good or bad; there is a certain chill that will come over me, you? A gentlemen last week told me that he gets a certain vibe when there is bad energy around him. Another told me more about salt lamps and their ability to remove bad energy. Feeling positive or negative energy is not necessarily a new topic to me, but I have not heard about it in years until last week. It felt as if every other person wanted to discuss energy, and I loved every minute of it too. I really like it when people want to protect me and themselves from dark angels!
You all know that dark ghosts are called "dark angels" by children, and some adults too. Some adults recall seeing dark angels as children. Speaking of negative energy, ever encountered someone performing black magic? I do not discuss this topic at all, but I will today in relation to dark angels. Typically, kids and families who practice black magic will stay guarded toward me. I can tell when someone is either entertaining dark angels or using black magic. Years ago, I did not know why they kept their distance from me because I am the last person to cast them out or judge their due to their beliefs and practices. I posed this question on Quora.com, and a man basically told me to just "guide them away from the subject." Yea, that's the answer... that response immediately gets kids to trust me right? To basically ignore their beliefs?
Children have told me that dark angels and those who practice dark magic can see the light of God and stay away from it. I cannot say whether or not that is true, but it is what I was told. Over time, I acquired knowledge about how to work with parents and children who had different rituals including cult behaviors, possessions, black magic, and who could see and talk to dark angels. Sometimes I wanted to shout, "IF you know what I do..." from children who can see ghosts, you would not toy with anything paranormal that is dark or demonic.
Dr. Lisa's Lessons
I gained an understanding of how to conduct treatment with those who see ghosts, perform rituals, and believe in things that I do not over time. If you are an aspiring psychologist, you must prepare yourself to deal with a variety of people and things that you may not believe or partake in, within your personal life. You may not judge them, and you will need to remove your biases. However, that does not mean that you are required to treat every person who wants to work with you.
Some populations of people may make you uncomfortable, and being realistic about that feeling will help you to clarify your role within the field of psychology. It also assists you with recognizing when you cannot be objective with the public, or when you simply cannot work with a person or group of people. For example, if I worked with adults, I could not work with those who harm children. I would be biased and mad about what they did to a child instead of helping to heal them which would be harmful. That is the opposite goal of therapy. Keep your boundaries clear and if you cannot work with Nebulous Children for example, or individuals who participate in things that are not appealing to you, that's ok. Just make sure that you make the proper referrals to other professionals to address their needs.
