Inspiration
Periodically, I get writer's block when trying to determine what topic I am planning to discuss in my blog. This week was one of those weeks which is why it is a few days late. I have a lot of ideas and experiences, but organizing all of them to put them into a blog is challenging, to say the least. What is interesting about waiting to write my blog for the week, however, is that inspiration comes when I least expect it. Usually, it happens and I have an "aha moment" and start writing the blog no matter what I am doing.

Sometimes you hear my inspiration live on my podcast: https://drlisaligginschambers1959.podbean.com/, when I stop and say, "I need to write that down for a future blog." Then, I follow up and write it. I also gather information from all of you when you ask questions, thank you. At times, I forget about some of my experiences and a question will get sent to me and I think, "Oh crap, I've experienced that and can tell a story about it."

My friends always say, "You have such great stories." I do! I swear if you all could dissect my brain and reveal all of my psychology memories, you would think that I am a psychology prodigy. (smile) However, I am not alone. If you ask other Psychologists about their experiences, they will tell you many interesting stories. Many people love to hear about our experiences. I do not know why the public finds them fascinating, but I'll take it, lol. Some of my stories involve Nebulous Children, and I will gladly share them with anyone willing to listen to them. They are all true stories, including the one below regarding Child I, which happened this year.

Most recently, I sat around a few individuals who began speaking of their experiences with God's angels. It is important to reference God because not all angels are of God, remember? Some appear white to deceive us. As they spoke of their encounters I thought, "I wish my readers could hear what I am hearing." In each situation, the person knew that those angels were present to help them with a particular circumstance. It was fascinating to me especially because only one person out of all of them could see ghosts. The rest did not realize that they were dealing with God's angels until later on when they said something interesting,

"I turned around to look for the person and they were gone."

That was the common response of all of the people talking. Interesting right? It is also the same response that I had when I believe that I ran into an angel. Nebulous Children have told me that he was my angel and why he presented himself to me. While listening to them, I mentioned having a similar situation occur to me and once again I felt vindicated as I heard the group say a few things that reminded me of not just my brush with an angel, but the stories of Nebulous Children who discussed this experience as well. It was refreshing to hear adults, who can and cannot see ghosts, talk about it and directly relate to Nebulous Children. At times when I feel as if I am done writing and talking about these experiences, inspiration comes to me, and I keep me writing.

So, I'm not done yet.

Child I
I met a child who appeared frightened when speaking of the "Boogeyman" within the family home. We have all heard about the Boogeyman, but when new children in my care reference the Boogeyman to me, I get secretly alarmed. The Boogeyman, allegedly, is a mythical creature used by adults to frighten children into good behavior. After reading my blogs, do you think threatening a child with a Boogeyman encounter is a good idea? Sigh! You are better off with positive punishment.

Many children have described dark angels to me as the Boogeyman. The Boogeyman is usually scary to all children, but there is something different when Nebulous Children refer a sighting as the Boogeyman. Sometimes it makes me wonder if the Boogeyman is really a demon who appears to all children. Nebulous Children, describe the Boogeyman as a dark angel, but I cannot verify this based upon my own knowledge or vision. Non-Nebulous Children do not describe the Boogeyman that way at all.; they cannot see it, but Nebulous Children state that the Boogeyman appears to them periodically and at random times, including school. It could be a dark angel or demon, disguised as this mythical creature. Recall, dark angels enjoy torturing children; they are a child's friend.

When Child I began discussing the ability to see ghosts, the description of the Boogeyman as a dark angel was very similar to what other Nebulous Children told me about it. As Child I described the Boogeyman to me, Child I's body language became frozen stiff. along with daydreaming A completely different emotional stance occurred, and the facial expression was blank. This child mentioned that the Boogeyman appeared on steps in the family home, in this child's room, and that one of the parents could see the Boogeyman too. It was scary to this child, and real.
  • I just sat and gathered more information by listening.
  • Commenting is not always necessary as the kid's talk.
  • When you are quiet, kids will tell you everything that you need to know.
  • When they have a hard time articulating their words, ask them to draw you a picture.

I asked this child to draw a picture of the Boogeyman for me. This made the child happier, and eager to draw a picture for me. There are certain colors that I look for such as darker ones, and shapes for example, faces, wings, and images that clearly indicate something different present within their minds. This is an unofficial and non-empirical researched projective-type assignment that I give to the children. I use it to interpret and process their drawings with them. For Child I, the scribble in the corner of the room with eyes was the Boogeyman to this child who also said,

"I can't draw wings."

Then, I froze internally. I flashed back to my experiences quickly; as if it was fast commercials, and then I said, "Wings?" Child I looked at me and said,

"Yes, wings."

As I sit here smiling, I am thinking,
"I guess God still wants me to work with Nebulous Children!"
Here we go!
