Is My Child Haunted?
We will approach this answer in 3 different ways for parents, but today we will focus on Secular Parents.

Secular
The question changes a bit from secular parents,
Can my child be haunted or not?

The direct answer is yes. I know you're skeptical; there is not scientific explanation as a point of reference for you, but the answer is still yes. From your perspective, there is no real proof that ghosts exist I know and I hear you, but they do. We do not always like the answers that we hear, nor do we want to believe it when we do, but I am a witness that this phenomenon does exist.

More than likely, you are a parent of a child who told you about their ghostly visions and/or other experiences. You are justified when you think, "Is this all in their head?" Or, "Is my kid having a mental health issues?" Further, you. may ask yourself, "Is it just my kid's imagination?" Those hypotheses are real to you because many caring parents try to figure out what is happening to their child before consulting with professionals. Despite your concerns, you have probably downplayed your child's visions to, "They'll get over it, it's kid's stuff."

But, then your kid comes back to you again with "weird" visions.

Condemning the paranormal does not mean that it will go away, or remove itself from your child. You must address it because there is enough qualitative evidence that a paranormal realm exists. More than likely, your child does see ghosts. Think about it this way; kids who cannot see ghosts do not discuss seeing them, nor do we concern ourselves with whether or not they can see ghosts. Right? So you see, there are some places haunted by spirits, but,

Some kids are haunted by them too.

Why I Appreciate Secular Parents
I have an appreciation for secular parents. Secular parents ask a lot of questions because they are skeptical. That skepticism keeps them grounded in what they perceive IS reality. Their perception of reality keeps them researching for answers. Those answers keep them open to a variety of options and techniques to improve their child's ability to cope with their gifts. Secular parents also keep their minds open to mental health. In return, this always helped to keep me in line with mental health options too.

Most of the secular parents that I have worked with typically did their homework about the topic prior to meeting with them about their Nebulous Children. Many secular parents are open to spirituality, but may not tolerate organized religion. However, do not be afraid to discuss spirituality with secular parents because they are not afraid of it which is a common myth. Similar to most of you, they just want the best for their children.

Secular Parental Recommendations
  • Try not to be secular regarding your Nebulous Child's visions
    • That means, knowing that your child's experiences can occur
    • It's hard, but remove your beliefs, approval, or disbeliefs
    • Allow the parental comfort needed to support your child
  • This is not about what you think, or how, but your child
    • It derives from your instincts, but not your worldview
    • You must focus on the things that you can do to assist your child
    • This ability is beyond what you can see
      • I had to learn that too as I worked with these kids
  • Actively listen to your child's experiences
    • Listen quietly
    • Allow your child to talk
  • Remove biases and judgments
  • Do not default to mental health
    • Your mental health practitioner will focus on mental health
    • That person will know what to do in cases of severe mental health challenges
      • Even if that person does not believe in ghosts
      • If that person puts you off or makes you uncomfortable, find a new mental health practitioner
  • Listen to your instincts
    • You will know if the sightings are imaginary friends or not
    • Still, question those imaginary friends
  • Continue to research and learn about your child's ability to see ghosts
  • Think about when, where, and how your child reveals to you that a ghost was sighted
  • Consider the amount of times your child mentions sightings to you
  • Understand your own spiritual beliefs and rituals
    • Channeling spirits
    • Inviting spirits into your home
    • Being a part of a cult
      • I worked with quite a few parents who were members of cults
        • Some sacrificed their kids during rituals
  • Examine your own experiences
    • Examples:
      • Have you done something that brings forth these entities?
      • Are you practicing rituals or playing games that deal with the paranormal?
        • That's not shocking; many parents innocently, involve themselves rituals
        • Ouija Boards are popular
          • Do not play with them
          • Make sure that your child does not play with them
  • Secular parents you, too, have the power to fight against the damage that dark angels or demons, can do to harm children. Even if you do not believe in organized religion, or God, that is what it takes to rid these kids of dark angels. No, that does not mean that you need to get involved in organized religion and violate your own beliefs. However, it means accepting what works to help Nebulous Children. Whether you strongly discourage religion within your household or not, I write these blogs to encourage all parents to take the necessary steps to improve the quality of life for Nebulous Children.
  • Improvement of a Nebulous Child's quality of life simply means, they may always have the ability to see ghosts but they can learn to choose which ghosts to see and how to control them. This will assist them with understanding ways of protecting themselves from dark angels along with decreasing their symptoms of mental illness. Combined, this will allow Nebulous Children to live a healthy lifestyle without fear, phobias, and paranoia due to their ability to see ghosts.
  • Do not be afraid to ask other parents for their recommendations
    • Other parents can help
  • Remember, children are resilient. Your child will overcome this battle
    • You are the leader
    • You are the nurturer
    • You are the protector
    • You reign supreme, not ghosts
    • You need to use your power
