"There's a demonic portal in our basement,"
is what the two children, Child F and Child G repeatedly told me.
Imagine a cave with fire inside of it.
And it is believed to be within your basement.
See the image?
This is exactly how both children told me it looks.

Now, add dark angels to it.
 A lot of them.
And this is what the father was protecting the children from,
in their basement.
No one believed him,
but the children
who could see this as well.
Scared yet?
I was....

...because this is how the children described the way that these demons, "dark angels," spoke to them which frightened them as well.
The one person who seemed to control these demons was
Their Father
Who was now incarcerated.
Frequently, the dark angels were around the children.
When they were removed from their home,
they followed them.
Even to my place of employment,
with the exception of my office, according to them.
Which is where they shared their stories with me.

  • Child G
The talkative one, Child G, was very candid with me about the events that lead up to the removal from the family home. Child G shared that their father was protecting them. He believed that demons haunted their home, and that
those demons wanted to take the children with them to hell. Their father was scared that he would loose his children, to the demons in basement portal and that he would not see them again.

It seemed to me that the children believed that their father was doing what he thought was right because they could see the demons too, as well as the portal. The children, however, did not attempt to go into the basement; not solely because their father told them not to, but because they were terrified. Child G told me that they did not want the demons "to get them."

For the next therapy sessions, Child G started to whisper in conversations with me because,
  • "They cannot hear me if I whisper."
  • "They are not in your room (office)."
And Child G would get very close to me, almost on my lap while in my face/ear, to talk to me. Listen, if you had the opportunity to speak to Child G while discussing these events, then this child starts to solely whisper while looking around,
You would get a bit nervous too!
As I did, but the story is just beginning...
